Tiger Shark on NY Beaches

I'm thinking of buying a Tiger Shark this spring and was wondering how they hunt on New York City/Long Island beaches. Mostly wading and wet/dry sand.

Some pockets of black sand exist. How well does the TS handle salt and black sand? Any advise would be helpful

...I read from others that, even though it has a "salt water" mode, salt water is not the Tiger Shark's forte.

Ask lots of questions before you spend the bucks.

Most posts I've read said the Tiger Shark is not that good in salt water.
