Tiger Shark headphones

Just wondering here. Still playing around whith the new machine and i have found a slight problem with the headset. I seems the headset cord is a little short for me. Im 6,3 with long arms. This is with the control box mounted under the cuff. It seems to pull on the phones when i swing it. I cant use it if mounted infront of the handle. Down the road if i bought a set of aftermarket phones could i send it in to Tesoro and have them put them on?

Your machine is about 3 days old? My Stingray 2 that I mount in front of the grip has plenty of slack. Your cord is still new, it will relax. I'm 6'2 and have plenty of slack now. Also are they still putting the Black Warrior Blissom headphones on the newer machines?? My machine was built around 1996 and they are still working great. Trust me on a water machine the last thing you want is excessive slack in the cord. Over time and use they will strech out. My 2 zincs-- if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Thanks for the reply RR. Your right on about the streching out. A good 8 hours of swinging should do it. My phones are blue and has Viking 1 on the sides.

Blue phones on a tiger??? Man I'm out of the loop, when did they change the headphones??

Not sure on that. Looks to me there were a couple of things that were changed. They added flyer sheets to what was diffrent in the manual. The clip and hardware, also serves as a belt mount. Also the changed/moved the thresh and sens pots.

Must be a new design. Tesoro's good about listening to customers and changing things to make the machines better/user friendly. WTG Tesoro. ALSO the website still shows the black phones on both models Tiger/Sand.

I also have a new Tigershark and it has the blue headphones. After about 15 hours of detecting the cord stretched out and I don't notice it anymore. I called Tesoro and they will not put on aftermarket headphones. They told me if anything is changed the warranty if void. I would like to put a set of GreyGhost water headphones on but it's not worth losing the warranty.
