Tiger Shark ground balancing

Billsie

New member
I am the proud owner of a new Tiger Shark. One question: Because I will be using it only for water hunting (freshwater lakes), and using it only in Motion Disc., is it necessary to ground balance the detector before each use?

Thanks for your help.

The detector looses its ability to distinguish small items from the soil. Some will get masked by mineralization, especially the small or deep ones that have a weak signal to start with. HH Joe

Hi Billsie, Yes it is very necassary to ground balance your Tiger Shark to use in the Disc. mode. I would do a ground balance as often as you feel you need in case the ground conditions change greatly! Always make sure there is no metal under the coil when you do a ground balance. I wonder if you are liking the Tiger Shark? Ok Billsie God Bless and happy hunting to you.
