Tiger Shark ground balance range

Tony

Member
Can anyone (Tiger Shark users) offer me some advice on how effective the ground balance range is on the TS.

I live in Western Australia and want to hunt freshwater lakes BUT the lake floors are highly mineralised with iron based clay?

My concern was that the TS may not be able to balance out the iron mineralisation ??

If the TS's GB range is as effective as something like the Minelab Sovereign's GB/tracking then i will be fine.

Appreciate any feedback,

Tony.

I've never had a problem balancing my TS in the area I use it which includes sandy beaches with a fair bit of black sand, but unfortunately I can't tell you how that compares with your area. Hopefully someone else will jump in that can.

Thanks BB,

I may have to slip my Sov GT into a watertight case as it's GB can handle the conditions.....just wanted an excuse to get a Tesoro really..
