Tiger Shark CleanSweep Coil

Diggler

Member
I know Tesoro doesn't produce the CSC for the TS any longer, but has anyone here ever used the combo? Anyone know how a dime air tests? I use the CSC on the Silver uMax and the depth is all I need. Hoping for depth to be similar on the Tiger. Any way to may the uMax CSC connection waterproof to the TS? I want to make this happen and if not possible, might have to part with the Tiger. I am spoiled with the coverage of the CSC and have a hard time making myself use a smaller coil.

Digger, I'm glad I came across this post. been talking with waltdwiz and he mentioned that you have awesome luck with the silver and csc. I am going to set up my silver with the csc and see how it handles in the wet salt sand.

Here are some of my better finds using the Silver uMax with the CSC in just the last 2 weekends. 4 golds, 1 titanium, 1 diamond, 2 other stones.... I just wish I could venture out a little deeper with the CSC... And the higher frequency of the Tiger Shark...

Diggler,

They make a 4 pin & 5 pin cleansweeps. What # of pins does the Tiger Shark have (its a VLF machine), it probley could be hardwired on the unit, like the new ones are. If you called Tesoro they might wire it in for you for a fee & its still under warrenty. Since you already own a Tiger Shark that could be your best option.

At electrical supply house has waterproof connectors that are available (for cords) & would fit where the coil wire attached to the main control box sealing the coil wire as it entered the control box. (with a little bit of silicone for a better seal)

Yah Wiz I saw that tricked out Golden of yours a while back. That is AWESOME. I also have the EXACT same treasure chest you have. The small gold ring and earing barely make a blip at 1/2" with Silver/CSC. I KNOW there are MUCH more tiny gold jewelry waiting to be found at my spot and a higher frequency should help. Maybe Cibola/CSC/Otter box? LONG LIVE THE CLEANSWEEP COIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More great ideas I will have to check into to...

i got to say the Cibola with CSC goes pretty deep in the right conditions and like you guys have said its hard going back to a smaller coil love mine it kicks butt, have found gold and silver rings with it it loves them :clapping: this is on land, not ventured into wet sand areas with it use my pulse for that but would be good having a bigger coil on that too

bigger is not always the best its the best-est :clapping:

Saw this eve, they have a 3x18 widescan for the cibola. Oh geeeeez. The wheeels are spinning once again. $$$$ lol
