Tiger shark= Bandido?

The tesoro site says the tiger shark uses the "same g/b and discrimination" famous on the Bandido. Is this like getting a waterproof Bandido?

Maybe the same as in a sense of saying... they both have GOOD ground balancing and discrimination capabilities! It's been a long while since I've used my Tiger but seems like it would read just a tad further into the iron range versus the Bandido's ED-120 discrimination circuitry but I could be wrong relying on my memory:shrug: My Bandido has a 10-turn manual ground balance adjustment while the Tiger has the 3- 3/4 turn manual ground balance adjustment and both work fine for me in all my hunting areas:detecting: HH & HH!

I think the tiger is based on the Bandido 2 µMax not the original Bandido .That why it is such a sweet machine.
