tiger shark at san diego beaches

thadious

New member
Anyone use the tiger shark at san diego beaches and in the water. I am thinking of getting one but have heard of anyone using it on San Diego beaches. If you use one do you like it, does it work OK in the saltwater and wet sands and how deep do you think you can go with it. I have narrowed my choices down to a tiger shark and a minelab sovereign gt. I have heard that the gt is great for the wet sand but am afraid I might drop it in the water. thanks for your help and HH Ted

The Tiger is NO good in salt. It looses a LOT of depth. It is the greatest thing since sliced bread in fresh water, but in salt, you might as well go fishing...
