Just got done working on this tabletop deck.It was put out by Tiffany around 1900.The outside is burl walnut veneer and heavy brass hardware. In side is Ebony and Rosewood with a Satinwood top.

... any of the stuff you refurbish? Some of those old pieces had hidden compartments. BTW, NICE WORK!

milk creamer which was in the shape of a cow about a mouth ago.It was made of silver and the cream poured out of his mouth.I was in the top part of a deck in a hidden box.I sold it to a silver dealer for $250.It was a dealers deck and they know I have a sign on my wall.Finders/keepers.This desk had 13 hidden draws and boxs built into the top.All but one was hard to find, you had to pull out the top draw some and feel around the bottom of the top for a hidden button which opened a dubby board which had a box behide it which the cow was packed in cotton for a long time,it was pretty black.I find coins from time to time.No pine tree shilling yet.

it from across the pond.We rarly used knoted pine in face wood [wood on the front, sides,or top].We used it mostly on backs, bottom, and draw bottoms. The hardware looks tobe from around 1860-1900.I'm guessing more like 1900 becasue of the round top screws.
