Thursday (I'm getting spoiled)

Getting spoiled by all the silver and halves at this site. My second target was the no date SLQ. Oddly I have found more SLQs than any other silver US coin. Third find was the wheat. Nothing much else after that except for another clad half dollar. I'm getting close to a full roll of them. The ring might be from a merry go round because there was a carnival at this site as I have written before. The blob in pic two is a badly mangled memorial cent. I found another booth that must have only taken quarters because I got a mess of them in a very small area.

The stuff on the right is a one hour test with my new 4.5" scorcher coil. Took a long while to do a small easement with it but it could really pick coins out from amongst the junk. It pinpoints to within millimeters too.

I'd love to know what the bronze thing on the right is. It looks like a lighthouse or a chess piece to me. I really think it is some type of nozzle or whistle.

Broke $200.00 in clad for the year and almost to 2000 coins. Also only a couple of silver coins from my 2007 total. I am having a hard time deciding what I like better. Hunting for old US coins or hunting for Gold jewelry.

Chris
