]First off I thought I would have some fun and see if anyone can guess how many wheat's I have found this year.
They are in a regular pie pan pictured below.
Lets have some fun and see if anyone can guess the amount within 10 wheats.

I will post the the closest guesser tomorrow night. Sorry no prize, just a big kudos for playing along and having some fun.

Today's finds are pictured below and it was not a bad day as I went back to two places I have hunted for years as they are close by.
Below are the coins as dug and I was happy as my first dig was the Indian (although a rough one).

Here are the three keepers from today together a 45 Merc a 42d Wash and what appears to be 88 Indian (she needs an O.Oil long soaking).

Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a great Fri. and weekend.

Congrats on the silver Mike!! I am going to guess 145 wheat pennies!!!

Hmmm, funny the first post that responded was someone who normally does not respond to any of my posts user "YODAinMN" or something like that and his guess was within 3 coins which made me chuckle.

But, being his post is now gone for some odd reason the best guesser is STEVE as there are 234 Wheats in that pan from this year. I had them seperated into two pans pre 30s and then olders there where 118 pre and 115 newer wheats.
To make it easy I dumped them together.
Thanks for guessing Steve and GrumpM and playing along. The kind words also.
