Hello again Folks!

Well, the weekend didn't turn out all that bad although it was prettly slow diggings starting off early on Saturday. Spent the whole day digging a lot of trash targets (lots of brass) in several places on the front side of the fort where I've had success finding coins in the past, but finds were few and far between. Maybe the dry soil had a lot to do with it? I think I dug a total of maybe five wheat pennies, 0 silver coins, and some clad but the best find of the day was this no date buffalo :clapping:

Had better success hunting the backside of the fort when Sunday rolled around the next day  My first decent signal at a few inches deep was this nice US pendant. Looks to be WWI era but not positive :) Can anyone verify WWI? Forgot to take a pic when I found it in the hole at the time it was dug until later on that evening :rage:

Hit a spot loaded with wheat's later on in the day, then I got a sweet dime reading at three inches and finally dug my first and only silver coin of the weekend...A '42 merc

Swung the coil a minute later and thought I got another dime, when out pops this sterling marksman medal at a few inches deep

Started getting too dark enough to see so I headed back to the truck but not before I got my mug shot with my self timing camera :D
I was tired, but at least I did better on my finds on Sunday than Saturday.
Beats a jab in the eye with a sharp stick any day :poke: :lmfao:
