Hi Folks...
Here's the latest on BobInMizzu directly from Linda as of 1 AM Eastern Friday:
Hello Ralph,
I just got home. Bob has had a BIG and a GOOD day!!
Last night they took out his ventilator around 8 P.M., although they had told me it wouldn't come out until this morning. I called the ICU to check on him and was able to speak with him about 9 P.M. I went up to see him and stayed until about midnight.
This morning they took out his extra leg pump. Again they had hold me it wouldn't come out until this afternoon. He still had to lie flat until 2 P.M. to insure no problems with bleeding from the leg. He sat up twice today, each time almost 2 hours long.
By this evening they had removed the chest and leg bandages and he was much more comfortable.
Still having a lot of pain, but breathing stronger and now stabilizing the blood pressure well.
He won't go to a room until tomorrow afternoon and will probably be in that wing 3 days before going home.
Thanks a million for your prayers, emails, and your call.
I will try to keep you posted.
Sincerely,
Linda
I'm waiting for the news from Linda stating that he's up and going thru the cafe's cash register looking for silva
However, this sure soundz like GREAT news to me!!
BTW, yes, I did finally place a call out to Mizzu-Land... Thank God (for Linda's sake) that I got the "voice mailbox" while she was at the hospital... or we'd STILL be on the phone.
Thanx & Best.... Ralph
