Went to lake george reginal park today in anoka county minnesota , I,ve wanted to hunt this for the longest time it has a large beach , a sand vally ball court, a big sand tot lot many pavilions but it costs 5.00$ to get in so i figured i was going to really make some finds first thing i noteced was goos poop covered every sq ft of ground i started in the vally ball court and found only one quarter and i was finding many BB,s but i was prepared whith my magnet so i went to the beach and started finding old metal nails barb wire bottle tops pull tabs scores of bobby pins now my most notible find of the day was a masked quarter that was next to a piece of rusty can the quarter had been thear a wile i bet someone goes thear whith an MXT and just cleans up the cladd , anyway i did manige to find a nickle behinda park bench and a 10" nail no one would dig around the tables and pavilions it was just littered whith bottle tops and tabs i left very disapointed after 3 full hours only 55cent on my way back home i found a small ball feild that is rather unkept i bet thats whear i make the hall -------STAY TUNED

Hunt the wetsand or jump in the water!!! Sounds like a wonderful place to use my Stingray 2! They should stop charging as soon as summer is over? what gives??

Sounds like a spot that has probably been hit by other guys who hated the trash and gave up.

If it was me I'd go back and hit it and dig everything. Might be loaded with good stuff mixed with trash.

Some parks don't start charging admission till late in the morning so if you get there early enough you can beat the fee.

Give it another chance, search with lowest discrimination setting and dig everything that squeaks out a signal.
