From the land of the Bluenose...a rather dark, dank and dismal day awaited me as I woke up on days off number #1. This did not deter. Hardly any gas in the car. This did not deter me. No spare batteries. This did not deter me but no way was I going to go out on this day without my coffee so I made a pot and used the old thermos. Sure Tim's will survive without my $1.40.
Hit a couple of local places with the wind just a whipping but had to look on the bright side as no self respecting black fly would be out in this kind of weather which suits this bouy fine. Usual penny parade was in order but the going was tough and slippery from all the rain causing the playing field to become a mud pit which I "carefully" adourned my clothes with. Marie has yet to see the mess I dragged home. Anyway managed 55 coins @ $1.44, a spoon, a cylinder from a co2 gun and a cute dog figurine made of plastic which was unfortunately right next to some real doggy dew which I had one halibut of a time getting off my boots. Again have to look on the bright side as I didn't kneel in it!
Home now and cleaned up hoping that our ballgame is cancelled tonight as I'm still pretty stiff from the last outing.
