threshold setting

Setting my threshold on Garrett at gold is -9..would be good or not for all types of land when detecting .at my place only have a lot of coin and relic and don't have gold nugget..
in you all opinion .. what is the best threshold setting to play at my place.. I'm so sorry my English so broken..

I suggest that you carry a small item of known gold content with you and test the signal on the ground where ever you hunt. Minerals and moisture causes differing signal noise. And ground balance often. Peace

The threshold setting only works in the true all metal mode. It should be set so you can hears a slight background hum.
