Three Ring Circus

Hello Everyone,
I got to the beach this morning a little before 5AM. Low tide was at 5:44AM. I was hunting with my NOX with a 15” coil bouncing around between Beach 1 and 2. My first signal was the silver ring with green stone. I ended up with three 925 silver rings and an assortment of junk jewelry. The big men’s feather ring rang up like a quarter (29-30) and surprised me. I was knee deep out in the waves. There were half a dozen other detectors so I figured I needed to go long.

Howdy zac--

It looks like you have a very productive beach to hunt. Congratulations on your good finds and good hunting strategy! Best of luck and...

Happy Hunting!

Really nice finds. Congrats, ;I am curious. I have the 15 inch and I water hunt. I never have really used it in the water that much. How to you find the chatter? What sensitivity are you running in beach mode 2. Are you running 20 or less?

The drag on the 15” gets pretty severe if the tide or waves are strong. I love the 15” on wet sand. I go between beach 1 and 2. I try and stay on beach 1 but in the water it gets too chatty. At my beach sensitivity 20 is good but some times I need to drop it to 18. Make sure to pop off the coil cover and wash off the sand between hunts especially if your going to different locations.

Great Tip I didn't know that if you moved from location to location that would make that much difference... Congrats on your 3 Ring Circus!!!!! Always love roundness in the bottom of my scoop :)

Nice finds keep hunting that beach seems like a good one!
