My 6 week drought is over The DeLeon scored a ring today the only rings that count in my book are silver or gold. Past few days I have gotten out for a couple hours after work and have dug lots of targets with mostly clad to show for it, but today I got out early and hit a few high % places for rings and it paid off. I started at a sand volleyball court and did well with clad then I moved to a tot lot not much here so I moved to another sand volleyball court and this time the DeLeon hit pay-dirt it is a pretty beat up Black Hills Silver ring and is probably beyond my skills to fix but it's a keeper anyway here's the goods from this week
143 pennies
25 nickels
34 dimes
21 quarters
8 wheat pennies oldest 1918, 1939 nickel
1 Black Hills silver ring
asst junk jewelery

Congrats on the ring. Way to stick with it. Nothing like turning the ring to the inside and seeing the marking on the ring of gold or silver, and nice pile of clad. It is enjoyable to find those old wheat pennies as well. I hope you find some more rings that count.

That is a lot of digging right there!!!!

When you least expect it, out pops a ring or some other nice find.
