Squeezed myself into the wetsuit and went in today with the Pro...I didnt know neoprene could shrink over the Winter, but it evidently does!:lmfao:
Met up with my buddy Sturrat and we had at a very long expanse, ..He's still out there someplace swinging away...Big Lake is up and very angry driven by a brisk SW wind! Heavy surf and fog... Neither of us found any gold or silver, he got a few wheats including one somebody shot a hole through! That was a cool find!...We are gold/silver hunters so were a bit bummed with the finds, looking at it though, it wasnt the worst 3hrs I've spent on this Planet!:lmfao: Not by a longshot!

Nice hunt Mud! Those finds would equate to a typical hunt up here. Too bad on the lack of silver or gold. It will come. At least you got out. Beats getting brain pollution sitting in front of a TV. :)

Yeah I agree with Elton I bet you thought some of your reguler clothes were shrinling too:rofl: Blamed it on the wife for usimg the wrong detergent:starwars:We all no better.Look have you considered starting a fishing lure collection?You know like when you have your yard sales ect.Anyway glad you got out HH
 
I'm with metalfun, a quick rinse and new hooks and you can have a lure sale. Or, better yet, go fishing for something with gils. Good assortment of targets and some good fun. :thumbup: HH jim tn
 
I am sure that there is a direct ratio of neoprene shrinkage to pasta consumed x the number cold unhuntable winter days.
Mud, with your line of artfully crafted communication, maybe you could write up a grant proposal to get a government funded study done on the exact cause and effect!

I think like you, and Bostronizo University did a famous study on "The Winter and the effects of the inactivity of the neoprene and protective dig clothing". These materials are joining their atoms for warmth and activate the circulation of protons with the consequent loss of surface material causing degradation and loss of elasticity which affects the space time and causes an increase in the intake of foodstuffs rich in carbohydrates and sugar ... in short Mud, you have fattened but the fault is of the physical and chemical :rofl::rofl:

Glad you and your buddy got out and did some water hunting, Mud. I'm scared to try and put my wetsuit on. I weighed 250 more or less when I bought it last winter and I've only wore it once. Now, I'm up to 272 and scared it will split at the seems if I try and get it on. I hope Memorial Day will leave some nice finds at the river if I get a chance to get out that week. Any day detecting is a good day. Gold and silver just make it a better day. GL & HH.
