Three Centuries of Silver Reale, Seated, Barber & more

Got out for a hunt yesterday morning and came away, much to my surprise, with 3 centuries of silver. I've found half reales before, but it was a surprise in this particular location. Can't tell for sure if the date is 1785 or 1786. The 1858 Seated Half Dime was a first for me. The Barber, Indians and war nickels were a bonus.

I had went to the same place the week before and although I didn't find any silver coins, I did find a few Indians, shield and V nickel and a nice silver cross.

Awesome finds!!! very nice old coins and I like that cross!!! I'm sooo envious of those living back East etc; and being able to find old coins like these! Everything is comparatively new here on the West coast!

That's pretty good, man. The Real seems to be 1786, with some certainty. If you can see the other side we can get some more information about it as the mint and assayer, is there another side photo?

Wow! Any one of those silvers would make a good day

amazing hunt!

Very Nice! makes us land locked mid westerners jealous for sure! Don't think I will ever find any Spanish coins, but hey they do think the Conquistadors got up into Kansas looking for the fountain of youth...so you never know

Outstanding group of finds !!!

Congrats! Nice hits for sure. If your doing Brewster Ma it all falls into place with the Cape going back to the 1600's. One of my favorite places to detect.

Actually I'm in Brewster NY, but unfortunately none of this was found within an hour of my house. I don't mind driving if I'm finding great coins.

Cool, NY. I've been through Brewster a few times - it's an hour away from me.
Keep posting up the goodies!
