thoughts on the legacy 3500

Have had a 3300 for the last few years and just bought the 3500. Patiently waiting. ....what are the differences between the two. And does it work better than the 3300. Thanks for any comments.

I can't compare the two.....I've only owned my 3500 since March 20th.
But my 1st find was an 18k gold plated ring in my backyard.......something my Tracker IV had missed numerous times before.

I've only had 19 hunts with it thus far.
I have "earned" $33.16.....$20.00 of this was payment for finding property corner stakes. So I have found $13.16 in clad.
I also have the gold ring, a silver ring, a 20 cent Mexican coin and several other items/toys/trinkets/etc.

I absolutely love my 3500. That's the best thing I can say. Yes, I would HIGHLY recommend the 3500 and I would buy another one if needed.

Now, you my friend, need to read, read, read and listen to our resident forum expert's advise and words of wisdom. Take in everything you read and hear. Then make the decision that's best for you.

Good luck.

HH y'all.

What part of Texas are you in?
We are neighbors, even though we could be 1,000 miles apart! LOL

All I can say is the Legacy 3500 rocks!

i use a Discovery 3300. and have been finding some really nice colonial revolutionary era items with it in the past few weeks.
i was thinking i would do better with a "bigger name machine" so i bought the ACE 250 from Garrett, its a nice machine, but i
honestly have to say, I think my Bounty Hunter Discovery 3300 out performs my ACE 250. both are great and very accurate, and the target ID
is pretty good on both, but i think the pin pointing on the 3300 is more on spot than with the Garrett ACE 250.
in short the Bounty Hunter Discovery 3300 is every bit the machine the Garrett ACE 250 is.
it is a well built, and simple to use machine, i will be looking into another Bounty hunter soon.
with the new features in the 3500, and the price, you simply can not beat it...

I live in Victoria, but will be in houston area for a while. And I'm loving my 3500. Been in houston for a week and already found some cool things that I will post later
