Thoughts on Minelabs sdc2300 vs the ATX

Hi guys.... I have waited and waited for ages to see more data on the sdc2300 at the beach but aside one or two videos (old) there is really limited info on the SDC2300 and beach / water hunting. I like the look of the machine and if the 8 inch mono is like the ATX it should be great in the water. Wonder how stable it is? Has anyone on the ATX forum used the SDC? Our dealers here have limited detecting knowledge and really don't know a lot about the machines. Would be great to see any thoughts of forum members on the SDC. Interestingly - the SDC 2300 is cheaper in NZ than the USA!

Haven't seen enough comparsions between the two but believe the 2300 is hotter on smaller nuggets when comparing both smaller mono coil, but thats about it the ATX has much more to offer.

Take the ATX stock DD, I bet this coil would give the 2300 a run for their money on the smallest of finds or pretty darn close and the stock ATX DD will get much more depth as well.

Both are great Pi's, depends on the user.
