Just one last reminder of our big event of the year this Saturday. The weather looks like it is going to be perfect and our big event is the biggest ever. We topped the $3000 mark with silver, gold and prizes to be found and won. YEP, I said gold 
Someone will find a token good for a 1/20 .9999 pure gold Panda this year. Add 7 silver dollars, 20 halves, most of them Barbers, 55 quarters and over 400 dimes, almost all merc's to the list. Does this sound as fun as Christmas morning?
I have a map I can send you if you need it but most of you know where it will be and plan on being there 9 to 9:30 for a 10 AM start. You might want to bring a folding chair, picnic tables are limited and I expect a good turnout. You might want to make sure your batteries are charged and everything works.
Other topics:
We still need a chair person for the club hunt Sept. 29th. All we need is a location for a group hunt and the Board will help you with prizes and lunch. It is a pretty simple project. This is your chance to get involved in the club.
