I did go to the beach yesterday and caught low tide. Very windy and cold and the pickin's were slim at best since it's just so sanded in. Some clad, some trash, a junk toe ring, and a very runny nose; that's about it

BTW, I'm through with sealing my coil cover with silicone. Had to rip it off yesterday because the machine was going nuts. I think if I just hunted dirt it would be OK to use, but not for saltwater beaches. Time to buy the epoxy and coat the bottom of it... Max on the beach forum sent me pics on how he went about it.

Hope everyone has a great Lord's Day!

It looks cold up there! Beautiful, but cooooold!

When I used my Fisher on the beach they recommended removing the coil cover. Of course I only hunt the beach a few days a year so wear and tear is minimized. I guess when you hunt the beach as much as you do it is recommended to protect it.

Have a good day, Joe!

able to get out and detect the beach, but sorry about not finding much and you should leave the runny nose in a hole in the sand!

Hunting before church would help get some earthly treasure but going to church will assure you of inheriting heavenly treasure! So go for the gold and reap a harvest on earth and in heaven!

God Bless!
