It is a fact that you become used to a certain Bible. Somehow you learn your way around it, you just know where a certain verse is even though you may not really know its "address". (The most well-known example of an "address" is probably John 3:16). But Bibles wear out, or fall to bits, and you need a new one. But it takes quite a while for the old familiarity to return.

So C.J.M. I understand exactly what you are saying and, even though my old Bibles have seen better days, I still have them and refer to them from time-to-time.
