Those of you that have both the ATPro and the ATGold.....

With having both or have had both detectors has anyone test to see which is deeper (ATPro-pro zero) or (ATGold-disc1) ?

AT Gold is deeper in true all metal mode. Lot's of people likw the AT Gold because of that reason, but it can't be used in salt water.

I know the all metal will be deeper. I like the all metal mode.

I agree with John on this, the all metal mode gives additonal depth and its got ID to boot also. I just picked up another AT pro(had one last year and sold it) for the reason John mentioned, to be able to do salt water sites. Both are superb detectors.

Setup that way I think they would be pretty close. I only have the AT Gold right now but have had the AT Pro too.

I'm thinking the disc 1 on the ATGold is the deeper one . I know the ALL METAL is the deepest .
