Thomas Terry's Treasure Atlas

I know these have been out for quite a while, but I've got the one for my state and it's really fun and interesting to read.

That man must have been really devoted to dig up all these treasure leads. Each of the 10 volumes has about 5,000 treasure leads/stories!

Has anybody here ever gotten any good treasure leads from any of the Treasure Atlases?

I have a couple for states I frequent most and also found them an interesting read. Guess I just got them for reading, as I have never tried to utilize them beyond that??? Probably about time I did. HH jim tn

I have used them to help locate ghost towns in my area. Good reference material in them.

I have a source for them (USTA) at Pro Mack South in Apache Junction, AZ. PH: 866-983-7011

Glad to hear they worked for you, Smitty. I plan on trying some of the leads for my state.

I got mine off that big auction site for $5.00 plus shipping.

If you keep your eyes open, you can sometimes find them a good deal cheaper there than through a dealer where you usually pay about $15 by the time you add in shipping.

Has anyone ever looked at the Michigan edition? If so was there anything in there worth while? I'm talking about basically southeast Michigan.

I'd bet it does. Whether you get any leads or not, I can tell you that it's fun to read. Especially when you read the treasure stories you never heard about places you know well in your area.

With 10 editions and about 5,000 leads per edition that means the average state would have about 1,000. Assuming the other editions are like the one I have, some of the leads are just a sentence or two while others are little stories with several paragraphs.

I was thinking about getting the one for the state next to mine it's up on the auction site for $3.99 with no bids.

Since you're not in my state and won't be bidding against me, I'll tell you that Michigan's book is up for $3.99 now too.
