And....My gold metamorphosis loot........... :)

I am proud to be a coin and jewelry hunter and have been so for many years. My 100,000 coin mark is close at hand.

I have been a Garrett user for many many years. I started out with a cheap Radio Shack TR model. It beeped on everything, and I dug everything. I spent more on 9 volt batteries then what I found in loot. My first year brought in $26.00. Then a buddy who was a Garrett user took me out and I discovered discrimination that actually worked. I bought my first Garrett 15 years ago, and have been using Garrett all along. I tried several other brands, and they got coins too. But Garretts were built tough, made in North America and had a profiling (sizing) feature not available on any other machine. And that has made all the difference in the world. As soon as I bought the GTI 1500, my yearly coin count went up substantially.

Last years end total was $615.03. This years total (so far) is $617.67/6,216 coins. Another 3 weeks to go

Quite a respectable pile bud. I didn't even take a pic of mine this year. Think I rolled up and cashed in between $600-$700. Don't know for sure what my ring count was, perhaps 20 or more. When I was testing the Sun Ray probe I found quite a few. Got a pic of that around here somewhere and it's probably included in the field test at the top of the page. I hope things are better next year. I sent my 2500 off to get the chip installed. May use that more this coming year.
