Hey Finally got my computer back on line and have some pictures to share of the rings
I found this year.

These are in the order they were found. Most were found at schools or football and soccer fields

11 gold or silver with black hills gold

8 silver

2 stainless steel

This is the big one I found last week it is a size 13 1/2 or 14 it has 9 baguette diamonds that were tested real at a local pawn shop

Thanks guys as the snow is flying here today that may be my total for the year 21 rings is best year I have had yet the DeLeon really found the goods this year

Would you mind sharing where most of the gold rings fell on the ID? That would really be interesting if you can remember.

The smaller ones were in foil to nickel range with readings from to 12 to 18 the large gold ring or band read tab at 20 to 25 for the band and solid 60 for the 8.2 gram gold and diamond ring the thing I noticed most was what Monte mentioned here a few times is that gold will not change values much when the coil is passed over it. Unlike pull tabs, can slaw, or tin foil where the number values will jump from high to low and back again. I also run my coil over different size gold rings to help me look for the way each one reacts so I can pay more attention to these signals or readings in the field. Hope that helps

Hey Phinbolt, I think you and Tabdog could get together and open a jewelry shop!

Seriously though, I'm glad to see you doing so well with the mighty DeLeon.

Your posts (and a real good price) were a major reason I bought my D. Since getting it back from Tesoro for repair and recalibration I've been extremely happy with it.

So thank you for steering me right.

your welcome. The price led me to it too and I am very happy with it stick with it, it is a great machine and misses little if anything if it is to be found the DeLeon will get it
