Here's my best finds for 2009 using First Texas detectors. I own the T2, F75, and now my favorite the new LTD T2. The first half of the year was really good, cant wait for cooler weather. I dug some nice civil war confederate & yankee buttons, a civil war period charleston - savannah railroad baggage tag,war 1812 buttons ,a rare confederate marked spur, and some real nice early coins.

the summer was naturally a little slower but I still made some nice finds especially the slave tag from last weekend. Looking forward to getting out more with the new LTD it just doesn't get any better than this machine!!

Very nice finds, looks like you have some very good relic sites to hunt. I hunt up here in Northern Virginia and love the way the T2 pulls relics that others have just passed by. Keep on truckin!!!

Great digz Pete

I'd give my left you know what to go hunting at the locations that you guys go to. I live in Ks. and find a civil war relic one or twice a year. I'd like to get an ID on a button that I found that has an ordinance bomb above crossed sabres, about the diameter of a quarter, I guess I need a picture.

Thanks Randy,

the button your talking about isnt civil war period. I've never seen a civil war button like that. It could be spanish american war if it's not some foreign button. Can you get a backmark off it? If you can let me know what it is.The ordnance bomb over crossed cannons is a civil war artillery button, actually from the 1840's I believe but they were worn during the civil war by both sides. Let me know about the BM if you can't get a picture.
