Hey Ranger
When around home what do you normally go hunting for? Clad coins, old silver, relics ? I mostly hunt for the Stained coins [clad] and pick up some rings and a few silver coins along the way. Was out yesterday a couple of hrs. did real good but got wet and had to quit. Cold front and snow got me shut down now. Hope to do a little water hunting with the AT Pro this summer.

Coins mostly i need to find older spots tho to
get the good stuff this year was better for rings
and tokens etc thats cause im learning the GTI
better .. i also want to start the water hunt stuff
since i do have 1/4 neoprene waders for duck hunting ..
and Im going to start throwing a magnet into ponds etc to see
whats there ..

I just like to get out and :detecting:cause ya NEVER know
whats goona pop outa the ground

From the land of the Bluenose....getting near the end here too...Dominican in April for 2 weeks...can't wait! best of the season to you.

:usaflag:Ron, I like the magnet idea....will have to try that sometime. How about putting some threaded ice fishing line, the 50 lb. test variety, onto a bigger fishing rod and cast out? I think that would be fun !!

I bet that would work but i think a
REAL heavy duty musky rod might be
needed!!!!!! maybe i could rig it up
to my old bowfishing rig????

anyhow i cnat wait for a warm spell
