Good advice there. While tiresome at times, the all metal mode will really open your eyes. The last piece of gold jewelry I found, a 10K scorpion pendant, would not have been found at even a notch below nickle. I was well into the iron range, and it was still a broken signal. The only thing was, I knew it was there SOMEWHERE, and so knew what to look for. I was digging everything.
