This weekends finds

Got out for a little while this weekend. I found a small patch of shot bullets. There were more there, but I'll dig those another day. I was looking for brass Saturday but didn't find any. I did dig one lone drop and my partner dug a few also. I dug the token the other day at an old homesite. It reads "Good for 1 Pack" on both sides but it doesn't say a pack of what. I'm assuming cigarettes but no brand name is mentioned,

How interesting. If you find any info on the token, let us know. That's strange that it doesn't say what it's for. Makes you wonder. Love the old minie balls. Wonderful hunt. Thanks for the pictures and HH, Nancy

Nice finds Jeff. I often wish there were some civil war sites in my area, good work.

I googled your token and came up with lots of info. Here is one link to follow for pictures of the slot machine and tokens used in it.

I appears to be an early gaming token for slot machines in 1937-8 that paid out in mints or cigarettes.

Nice find.
