Finds include an old pocket knife, a lantern wick adjuster, 3 fired sm. cal. round balls, 1 pecussion cap, 1 fired minie, 1 melted minie(.69 or .71 cal.), 1 .58 cal. minie drop, 1 carved minie top, 1 carved .69 cal. round ball, 3 buttons and assorted brass. Nice finds Scott. If that thing with the whell on it is a lateren wick adjuster, look on the wheel and see if there's a date on it.
 
I love to dig carved bullets. Makes me wonder what was going on in the soldiers mind when he carved it.
