This weekend. Struck gold again

Saturday I went to one of my favorite lakes and only found a 1916 buffalo and a 1940 wheat along with a lot of new change.

Sunday I hit Cass lake in Pontiac MI. The first silver I got was a small ring missing a stone. Along with some new change from the 60's.

I decided to hit another spot that I went to last summer. It didn't disappoint me. My first find was a silver religious medal about the size of a half, a bit smaller. Then I hit a pocket spill from the 50's. A 1945 Walker, 1947 Washington and a 1954 dime all in one small area. A bit further I dug up another 1916 buffalo. 2 1916 beefalo's in one weekend? Strange. Another nice silver ring with a black onyx stone and a silver insert was next. Last but not least by any means was a mans 10K ring with a Garnett in it. No markings inside except a EK, but I just had it checked at my jewelers and they confirmed what I thought it was, GOLD!!!!!! It is also very old. My oldest ring out of that lake so far is a 1926 class ring. Will try to post a picture tomorrow. Love the water!!

I have the bug now. Two gold rings in one week. Now I need to get to 2 - 10 a day!!

Here are the pictures. Rings and coins haven't been cleaned yet. I just took off most the surface crud or oxidation whichever you prefer to call it!! That gold ring was in the water for many many years.

Awesome! There's some age to your lake....Keep digging, I bet the best is yet to come out of it!! Great Finds!!

Scuba, I found a very similar ring but with a diamond in it and its the exact same setting.. I found the carat mark on the outside of the band so check there :) mine turned out 19.2k (19.2) 800 Standard in Portugal

Craig-pi, Nothing on the outside either, That is why I took it to my local jewler. They are great and answer all my questions. Now I wish mine was 18K and with a diamond!!! Oh well the season is YOUNG. I always get my share of gold. They don't call me Detector-Bob-Scuba-Pants for just any reason!!

Yours is nice also doinadiggin, either of you want to trade?????
