This was a Golden birthday!!

Today turned out to be one of those perfect birthdays. Went to my grandson's Pinewood Derby competition. My ex-wife and her husband took my wife and I out to lunch at Cracker Barrel. Had a great time. When I got back home I told my wife I was going out detecting for a few hours to work off the calories. Went back to the old school football field and set the ACE350 to hunt for Nickels only. Didn't find a lot, but made up for the quantity with quality. Found several nickels, a gold colored button and a gold ring. I think the ring came from someone who went to the school, since the team was called the Admirals. All in all, it was a great birthday. This was my third ring after five outings with the ACE350. I think it is a "keeper".

Nice!

Doesn't take too many gold rings to make a great hunt! Congrats and Happy Birthday!!

Gold sure is nice for a birthday or any day for that matter.
Nice looking ring ! You have a good gold rate going.
I too find the Ace350 is hot on gold jewelry.
Good hunting to you !

happy happy:thumbup:
