This was a day for good company , seeing kin that you see maybe once a year, and reminencen about the past.......

I connected with a brother in law ( several times removed now , a while back. We talked about the things we did and things we got away with when I lived in Texas. We agreed how things have changed and how much fun we had. He then said, " we didn't appreciate it then, because that's just the way it was." I thought about that statement today . My son and grandkids, going about their business taking things for granted, not realizing now is the good ol days for them, because thats the way it is.
