Not only do you look ready, but your pal there looks ready and might assist in the digging. I have a small little doggy who has assisted me at times. Curious little mind she has, and once she gets started, she doesn't want me to get my fingers in the way. They make great tag-along pals and enjoy the outdoors. HH
 
I owned Oscar. He's a neighbor dog who takes up at our house because they never pay attention to him. I don't know what I would do without him. He is a good buddy!!!!

 
Lots of federal land in that area and not always marked like it should be..They will take your detector, Vehicle and take you away in handcuffs...I hope you have a private farm in mind and indeed many areas that are not federal land and should do well as the area is full of relics and a few old coins also....
