This Ring led me here.

I searched the net for this Junior Fire Marshal ring my IDX Pro found under a very old tangerine tree .I found a picture match on a thread here of the same ring, a 50s era kids collectable . The farm was built in the1930s . A week later around the base of the same tree i found a ring showing 2 six shooters crossed on the face and a star and 3 stripes on the sides both of brass and in fair shape. I have yet to learn the historys of these kids rings. Here they are.

The Junior Fire Marshal ring, was from The Hartford Fire Insurance Co., there are several of them being sold on Ebay anywhere from $8.50 and up to $60 here is a link to ebay and some of the rings... there were several different items in the Junior Fire Marshal line such as Fire Hats, Badges, etc., most of these items The Hartford Fire Insurance Co starting giving out in 1947 and continued from what I've read are still available today (I've only read this, so I don't know if they are really still available).

Thank you GS Its nice to find some info on the junior fire marshal ring. I guess kids could not keep them on ,like wedding rings at the beach.
