This quarter From someones pocket to my pouch to

A stranger. I've been hunting the Gulf Shore beaches since newyears. Be heading back home to Pa. next week. Anyways ya don't get much for a quarter but my wife and I had some fun with this one. Started out by finding it in a drainage ditch running threw the beach. Down in about 4 inches of sand in a couple inches of water. Not all that old a 2000. Who knows who lost it and when? So I take it back and shine it up some. Than today while we were sitting at a busy corner catching some sun, I put it on the side walk and we wait. Well it took awhile & watching people can be fun. Young people walked over it while texting. Some people were pulled over it by their dogs. And some couldn't stoop over to get it. Finally some well dressed guy snapped it up and got a big smile over it. Ya got to wander where it's going now? For a tip, a paper maybe or to sit in a jar for a couple of years. Maybe just maybe dropped back on the beach or a sports field than back into one of our pouches.

Man! You are one interesting dude! You sort of did what that old guy out west did by hiding that big box full of gold for people to go and look for, except with no clues and lots cheaper! Funny!

Very funny indeed, my wife & I love to people watch. We've sat in cafes watching people walk by or sitting on a hillside at a concert or the State Fair. Cheap entertainment!!

A very good story about using your imagination. Gotta try that.

I also wonder sometimes when I find an old coil at to what the person was doing when he/she lost it.

I always picture in my mind what someone is doing when they lose something, especially if its an old coin or old piece of jewelry. Fun stuff :)

I find it and take it home with me. Clean it and put in this years finds container. Then to the bank and into a "Special" account that we are using to help finance a trip to Puerto Rico for our 50th wedding anniversary. We lived there for three years back in the 70's and have wanted to return ever since leaving. Since the U.S.Navy isn't willing to send us again we are saving for the trip. Only 15 months to find tons of clad. I must get busy.
