This mornings short hunt

Found this nice little brass bell with the E-Trac this morning. It was 8" down and under some roots from an oak tree. Rang up close to a dime signal and before digging it we also checked the signal with an AT-Pro and a V3I. We all got diggable signals. Always fun to see how different machines react to a target.

The clapper was gone and we couldn't find it in the hole but it still has a good tone.

My bell collection is growing each year!

will you be finding bells all year or just hearing them? Just kidding...hope you have a blessed and Happy one the rest of this New Year's Day and all year! Amen! Ma Betty

Nice, great way to ring in the new year!

Very cool looking bell. Any markings on it?

Alas nary a one! There are some markings from when it was made, it's a spun made bell.
