This morning's finds

Ed (Upstate NY)

Back at the same old city park to try to squeeze out a couple more coins this morning. Park Pirate was already there digging when I arrived. First good find was a nearly smooth V nickel. Followed that up with a trolley flattened Indian head cent. Looks to be an 1881. Moved to a different area and added the 1905 indian head cent and a 1942-P war nickel. Dug the 1918 Buffalo nickel, thimble and pewter horse at a different park yesterday morning. Park Pirate found a couple of nice coins which he'll get posted in a couple days. Today's four coins bring my total out of this park to 1063 oldies ! It was indian head #'s 545 & 546, V nickel #105 and war nickel #38 from this park!

Great finds Ed! Hope you never see the day that the park dries up- seems like you always come up with something!

Jeff

Nice hunt, Ed. That's an impressive number of Indians. How close are you a complete collection?
