At the beach at sunup this morning with the Xterra 705/HF DD elliptical.......Lots of activity this past week with the great weather, too bad we didn't have this for the previous Easter weekend. Clad was to be had right from the moment I turned the MD on, $16.62 total. First jewelry find was a 14k 3.6g band in real bad shape. It's either cut or the weld broke and a stone is missing. TID was a jumpy 4,6,8.

The "Alex and Ani" bracelet was a disappointment, looking like a nice gold find till I saw the A&A brand....never found one of their charms yet that was gold or silver!! I did find a 925 charm that has a horsehead on it, check out that hole I had to dig to get it:rofl:. Also found a Fitbit http://www.fitbit.com/product ....not sure if their is a resale or owner ID on these it's first one I ever found and an E Cig with some vanilla flavor in it. Not pictured are the 3 Coronas and 2 limes that are in the fridge...chilling! Or the 2 packs of Marlboros, gave one to the cabana guy and the other to the parking lot attendant. GL ALL

It never ceases to amaze me what people lose at the beach, nor your ability to find it Bob.
Sweet finds! :clapping:

I'm with longhair, it just kills me as to all the things you find on the beach.

So which is going to happen first, you finding the owner of the ring or the owner finding you, lol Also now you can take up smoking the healthy way with the Ego e-cig, lol

You seriously had to 2 1/2 ft to get the target?
And I worry if mine is getting any deeper than 6". As Christopher Walken might say "WOWWW!"

Those Fitbit's are known for the bands not staying secure. I was at a Radio Shack the other day and noticed that they had a big sign there for a recall notice.

This one is mine...not sure if it was lost or tossed:rofl: But I have a friend that likes it, so I'm taking it to my jeweler to see what he can do with it.

 No Bill. That was just a 3 and a half foot deep hole I came across.Left by an MDer? Don't think so! Just a bit of Satire/humor in comparison to what we as MDers get blamed for.

Thanks Pescadore:)

Mapper...Thanks for the info, maybe I can send it in for a new one and then sell it:smoke:

Jack...go get some buddy. Have a great time!:detecting:

Dirt Hound....Thanks, I've never scrapped any gold or silver yet! I have a good collection of mangled and broken items for when that time comes. I do better selling the good stuff to friends and relatives.:)

The fitbit flex you have there is not the one recalled. The recalled one has a metal plate on the back made of nickle and highly alergic to some. The Flex costs $100 new. I have one. They work as advertized. To get a charger cable will set you back $25. It will communicate with a laptop through a dongle or to a smart phone through Bluetooth radio. the software is online

So like I said, I have a good friend who really liked this ring and wanted to buy it because it looks like one he lost several years ago. Of all the wedding bands that I have found, most in perfect condition, he wanted this one. So I took it to my jeweler last week and just picked it up this morning. He had to fix the break, add gold to increase the size, fix the mount on one diamond, replace the missing diamond, engrave a date and initials, and polish it up..... cost $90.00 cash!.
The melt value was around $80.00 and I'm selling it to him for $200.00. The ring lives on, and my buddy gets a good deal. GL ALL
