Those small wrist mittens in your pic must be for driving or brushing your teeth?...Full length up to the elbow wolverine or beaver Mittens are the only proper handwear North of the Mason Dixon line this year!
'Idiot Mittens' in fact, you know, the ones that have a string attached going around your neck so you dont lose one and consequently lose a hand?...This year a 'nightcap' is necessary, the old timey nightcap you wear on your head and made out of wool ....Lord, how we suffer!

I never drink coffee before going out on a cold hunt.
One wise detectorist told me some 20+ years ago while, eating breakfast at the Egg and I,
"What goes in must come out" I had a mouth full of coffee and it almost came out right then.
