Hi Guys,
I bought this ring a long time ago from an old guy at the flea market and have never had any luck looking it up. On the face it has crossed swords and K 102 or 109. I can`t read the lettering around the outside of the rings face. I`d say it`s pretty old. Any ideas, Guys? God Bless,-- Charlie in NC

Hey, Charlie... neat item! Looks like a privately purchased silver ring, maybe WWI period, Troop K, 109th (?) U.S. Cavalry Will try to check it out Monday with a friend who's a pro in military items and then get back to you.
Best of luck,
Buckram

Charlie, I heard from my friend who's a militaria aprpaiser for Manion's Auctions, and he says the ring could be WWI or WWII. He also said that, at least in the photo, the number looks as if it might be 189. Tough to research with so much detail worn or missing. His estimate of value? "Unfortunately, probably only $35-50, due to condition and lack of a clear attribution."
Hope this helps...
Buckram
