This is why im not out hunting

There was one Outer Banks vacation where it was raining so hard I could only see about 40 feet. Had the waders in the room and a good rain slicker and the CZ20. Walked the beach and splashed in the streams of water running down the beach where there was normally only dry sand. Unfortunately the weather didn't leave any good deep cuts in the beach that I could find. Didn't find much but wasn't completely skunked either.

But I wouldn't be going into those puddles in the yards either. Sometimes that water can be moving pretty fast when it looks like a calm surface.

Hope the weather clears for you soon!

we were in drought conditions this morning then in just a few hours we have caught up for the year....LOL At least the digging will be alot better, was getting tired of digging in concrete ground. HH John

well right before dark the sun came out and all clouds went away just in a matter of minutes. 2 days of rain and then gone in an hour. Now the soggy digging begins

Hey - I'm in the Houston area too, and have a new e-trac plus my White's m6. We should go hunting together sometime. I know a couple good old silver coin spots that still produce (over 40 silvers this year). I'll trade those spots for a little "in the field" pointers regarding the e-trac! I can't figure it out!

Hey Rbholt80,
yikies! thats a lot of h20! Sorry your not able to get out and hunt. Mabey youll find a spot all that water washed the coins to.

Were hoping for more sunshine here too.

Good luck,

I know the feeling - Saturday I was detecting in 70 degree weather , and Sunday it started to rain which turned into snow later in the evening. It's still snowing out Monday night as I type this reply. Only in Wisconsin - 70 degrees one day / Snow the next!! We did need some percipitation because the fire warning signs said very high , but I was hoping for a little rain -Not Snow!! It's been a long winter up here and I'm ready for a long stretch of decent weather - Not just one nice day here and one nice day there. CoinShooter-Craig
