This is why I haven't been detecting.

Hi fellows,

I know that this has nothing to do with metal detecting, but it's the reason I haven't been able to get out and swing a coil. I have been helping my son build a playhouse for his two girls and it has taken up most of my weekends. It has been a fun project, but I don't think I would ever build another one.:crylol: About all we have left to do now is put the fascia board and drip cap on around the edges and the 3-tab roofing and my part is done. My son and his wife will paint it later cause grandpa doesn't paint. I know the granddaughters will have a lot of fun with it. Thanks for looking fellows and next time I'll get back to posting some coins. GL & HH.

I bet the girls are going to really enjoy that.and will be very popular in the neighborhood too LOL

I foresee lots of friends playing with them in that great Playhouse

Dude that is a nice play house, looks like the doll house my oldest had when she was a little girl. (still has)

Fantastic work Eddie! That will be a fine playhouse for the kids and an even better man-cave when they out grow it! JJ

Nice work Eddie, when it's all done you'll have to ask the girls if you can detect in their back yard. Looks mid-1800's to me.

Just a wonderful thing you have done....no not the playhouse that is just a thing...but showing the love you have for your grandchildren. My fondest hope is when my grandchildren look back upon us they will say "Grandmaw and PawPaw were really cool".

a special thanks to Bryce for giving me permission to post the pictures of the playhouse.:beers: Thought I would post a picture of two happy girls.:clapping:

Grand kids keep us ole folk busy. Dont feel bad Eddie about not hunting.... its for a worthy cause. Ive not had ANY time to my self either. Just bought a project home in Florida and we are there remodeling it. I doubt ill get any hunting in until late in the year.... then its going to be more beaches. Its not really my thing .... but once again the grand kids wants a place they can go on vacation with the beach and a pool.... so here we are.

WOW! That is nicer than my house (and bigger). That is awesome! Now that's what you call a mother in law suite.
