Why I never want to see snow again!!
Having lived in Alaska for 30 years, I can tell you right off the guy/gal in the SUV is going to fast for road conditions.

Yep...damn is right! You are correct in how fast life can happen, especially in a situation like that that would demand heads up driving.
I'll have my girls watch this an as example to them when I say "Its not prudent at this juncture to be driving anywhere" Thanks.

I could sit here all day tellin ya stories of crashes i've seen coast to coast.
Things that would curl yer teeth. Like half of a dead guy starin at ya and laughin.

There was somethin odd tho 'bout the way that suv came apart like that.

I used to run with studded tires, even after they outlawed them for several years I still ran them...saved my life a couple of times...only been in two accidents in my life, both on the ice, neither of them serious. Used to drive a full size '78 Wagoneer, but even that is no match for a head on with a semi. We used to drive out on the frozen lakes in MN and practice ice driving, a frozen parking lot would work equally well, when you need those skills to show up, they better be there, or this is what happens. On a road like this in these weather conditions, if a person is not driving slow in the right lane, or stays home, this is what happens.
