This is terrible. We had rain yesterday morning that lasted until the about 11:00 am or so, then it clearned up somewhat BUT THEN by 9:00PM
the rain came back with a vengence! The power went out at 5am and regained it again by 6:30am. Wild night with tornadoes again. Its still raining even now
with severe thunder bummer warings for Bloomington and Columbus Indiana. More rain is predicted for later in the LATE afternood. When will this stop!!
I want to get my sorry butt out there and use my detector!!!!!![/b:rant::rage::veryangry:
RR

Settle down RR don't stroke out on us:veryangry: the rain will let up, if it doesn't just build an ark!! We been having rain here haven,t been detecting in two weeks. Work all week rain all weekend. Man I really need a detector fix.:lmfao:

I think we all know what you're going through RR and Bob. We've had the rain here also but have been very fortunate about the tornado thing. Since we can't get out to detect, we've always got the forum and can drool over the finds and daydream. That big day will come and soon I hope. It's nothing but mud here. That's why we opted for doing playgrounds Monday. HH to all, Nancy

hate to say this!.. you are gonna..need a boat!!..saw the forecast,,and the (s.o.b!) is headed east!

(h.h!)
j.t.

Did someone say they needed a boat????? We might sell ours............lol HH to all, Nancy

After all that, I don't think I'm going to comment of the weather in California....:wiggle:

I'm going to be heading out to southern Ca. this month. Will be doing some prospecting in the San Gabriel area east of Azusa.

Keep your powder dry, she'll let up. Just think of the signals you'll be getting with moist soil.

Boy Nancy we got a lot of rain again last night. I'll be doing the playgrounds myself for a while. Rob

We didn't get much rain at all. Mostly wind, but wasn't damaging here. About 7 miles South, a tornado was spotted and touched down. Good luck with the playgrounds. They're fun to hunt and quite a menagerie of finds. I love them. HH to all, Nancy

Bob, the weather is great and I wish you the best of luck in your prospecting. I'm going up to Northern California in July, up in the Trinity River area. Can't wait !!!!

Wow!! Count your blessings! We haven't had but one rain in over a year! We look forward to wet ground because it makes the detecting easier. Signals seem so much more stable and deeper with a little moisture.

Tornadoes are a different thing entirely. I grew up in southeast Missouri so I've seen my share of them and some BODACIOUS thunderstorms, but now I'd love to see some wet ground.
