deus xp ?? seems to have some resemblance to a minelab, has some really cutting edge tech...is distributed here in the U S...I'm wondering how well its target id will recognize U S coins and other objects??

Anybody use one or know of someone who did... All web videos are done in french ( of course )..

Just a few of the ones in english. Then there's some in danish, german, polish, italian etc. but I assume you'll have no use for those.

It's not made for coinshotting and I'm not sure how good it would be at it.

I have used the Deus with good success to find coins and other things in parks and beaches, so it works also in coinshooting.

they're very big in the Uk even though they are expensive ,i have one .its a keeper .
wireless headphones are a boon and
no cable from the coil to the box.
i dont even need a stem as the coil can be mounted over my boot with the box in my pocket and the phones around my neck.
it can be used without the box as the phones have all the controls.
its a very minimalist featherlight design

I have one and have used it about 50 hours so far in clean farm fields.
I agree - it was not developed for coin shooting - target ID not good for parks and schoolyards.
Was developed for UK style detecting in large fields and among iron infested sites searching for low conductor and very small items like thin hammered silver and gold staters. They dig everything that's not iron.
It has the fastest recovery speed on the market. Can differentiate between 3 distinct targets 3" from each other at a fast swing speed. Most detectors will only hear 1 target.

every program can be altered with all the parameters changed to suit your location .
