Greetings, I'm new to the board and a detecting enthusiast. This morning i found a strange coin or button, not sure what it is! The back is flat so no picture of the back. I tried looking it up cant find anything about it. Anyone have a guess?

My best guess would be a medal of some sort. If does not have a mark on back where a shank would have been and no type of denomination then its a medal.

Don't know what it could be but I agree with etracjoe, if there isn't any impression on the rear, I would consider this a medal. Is there a possible post/ pin mark on the rear, where it may have been a pin on metal or achievement button of some sort?

Thank you for sharing,
Moose
